Elisabeth Caren is a fine art, editorial, and advertising photographer based in Los Angeles and Paris.  Elisabeth's lifetime experiences in theatre and film heavily influence her work, which has been described as classic and cinematic. Elisabeth won PDN's portrait photography contest Faces 2016 and 2014 and has been recognized with over 60 honorable mention acknowledgments by the 2012-2016 International Photography Awards (Lucie Foundation).She was on the short list for The Young Masters Art Prize 2014 and exhibited in the Young Masters exhibition tour 2015-2016 in London, New York, Miami and Los Angeles. As a finalist of Photo LA’s Focus Competition, Elisabeth’s fine art work was exhibited at Photo Basel, Switzerland and Photo LA.  Her work has also been exhibited in group shows at The Los Angeles Center for Photography, Lucie Foundation's MOPLA, Minna Gallery San Francisco, Subtext Gallery San Diego, and APALA's Off The Clock exhibitions 2013-2015. Her fine art photography was also featured in several episodes of the hit MTV award winning comedy “Awkward”. Elisabeth’s advertising clients include Atlantic Records, CBS, Lionsgate Entertainment, NBC, MTV, and Sony Pictures Television. Her work has been featured in Elle, Emmy Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter, InStyle, People, and The New York Times and has shot 35 covers of celebrity portrait magazine covers. Elisabeth graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre and Film from Boston University's College of Fine Arts.  In the past, she worked in feature film development for acclaimed filmmakers Barry Sonnenfeld, David Friendly and Kathryn Bigelow.
