Collect is one of the world’s most influential fairs focusing on contemporary art and design made in the last five years by living artists.
Our Collect 2023 curation will showcase of ten wonderful artists who create multifaceted narratives while also celebrating materiality: Freya Bramble-Carter, Amy Hughes, Crystal Latimer, Margo Selby, Klari Reis, Matt Smith, Emilie Taylor, Elin Hughes, Ryan Barrett and Maria Diletta Rondoni.
There will be no shortage of engaging discussion taking place at this year’s fair and it is with great pleasure that we invite you to our glorious room S9 in the South Wing of Somerset House where we will present an informal series of 'Booth Talks'.
Friday, 03 March, 5pm: Margo Selby in Conversation with Cynthia Corbett on weaving, the art of textile creation and how artist Margo Selby juggles the commercial practice with her unique artwork creations.
Saturday, 04 March, 12 noon: Amy Hughes in discussion with Cynthia Corbett about how art history, the V&A Residency and Piranesi have influenced her ceramic practice. We are cheering for the wonderful and talented Gallery artist Amy Hughes who has been shortlisted for Brookfield Properties Craft Award 2023. Go, Amy!
These 'Booth Talks' are in-person only and you do not need to book, each lasts for approximately 20 minutes and are free for ticket holders for that day.
