We are delighted to announce that once again Young Masters will be exhibiting at Sphinx Fine Art this October.
The highly successful Young Masters tour will be making its final stop at Sphinx Fine Art, in Kensington, London. The exhibition will be curated by Daisy McMullan, (MA Curating, Chelsea College of Art and Design), curator of the Young Masters Art Prize 2012.
Exhibiting artists will include last year's winner, Lottie Davies, runner-up Geogria Dodson, and 2012 shortlisted artists Charles Moxon, Fabiano Parisi, Christoph Steinmeyer, Derrick Santini, Jane Hoodless, Nina Fowler and Karina Chechik. Works by 2009 shortlisted artists Charlotte Bracegirdle and Lluis Barba will also feature alongside selected artists, including Elise Ansel, Jamie Lumley, Aileen McEwan, Elaine Wilson, Sun Ae Kim and Nicole Etienne.
The Young Masters Art Prize has a long standing relationship with Sphinx Fine Art, whose beautiful Old Master Gallery in Kensington Church Street has hosted exhibitions that combine their stunning collection of Old Master pieces with the innovative, contemporary works of the Young Masters. This inspiring show will juxtapose a diverse approach to the art of the past by global, emerging artists, with works by well known Old Masters.
