Matt Smith, British Studio Pottery and the V&A

We are delighted to see gallery artist Matt Smith's work featured in this prestigious show at the V&A. Studio pottery – ceramics made by independent artist-potters – emerged as a distinct art form in the 1910s and '20s. This display explores the V&A's collecting and exhibiting of studio pottery from the movement's beginnings to the present day.

The exhibition is open until 28th September 2025.
