Utilizing the timeless skill of creating the ceramic vessel through hand-coiling, I build vessel forms that each have a unique character that naturally evolves through the process. The surface is approached by pouring, layering, stripping back, dripping, scratching and repeating these techniques until a visual narrative appears from the initial chaos.
