With 'Blue Heart', the aim was to create an impression of awe and wonder. The brushworks and movement within the leaves, flowers and waterfall evokes romance and reminiscence, recycling old symbols and metaphors and making them new again. I used mainly white and blue/ green pastel colours, typical of Late Baroque, to show the fluctuation state between memory and reality.
