This work is part of the serie "Gemma" inspired by the natural shapes of closed flower and buds.
I used a red and blue palette adding the colors to the clay body and juxtaposing each element thinking to create a sort of chromoluminarism effect as a patches that interact in a divisionist painting causing vibrations of color to the viewer. The contrasting colors placed near each other would intensify their relationship while preserving their separate identity. It is a closed flower ready to bloom taken in the potential moment, full of energy and intensity.
